Refund Policy

1. Try it free first

You do not need to pay to see how theStrata works. The Preface and Chapter 1 are free to preview, so you can read a full chapter lesson, flip the flashcards, and take a quiz before you upgrade. Trying the free chapters first is the best way to make sure a paid plan is right for you.

2. The 7-day money-back guarantee

If you upgrade and change your mind, you can request a full refund within 7 days of your payment. There is no need to explain why — just contact us within the 7-day window.

3. When the guarantee no longer applies

The 7-day money-back guarantee does not apply once more than 7 days have passed since your payment.

Because every plan is a one-time payment with no auto-renew, you will never be charged again automatically — so there is nothing to cancel, and no surprise renewal to refund.

4. Charges we always put right

Separately from the guarantee above, we will always look after you in these cases:

• Duplicate, accidental, or clearly unauthorized charges.
• A technical problem on our side that meant you did not receive the service you paid for.
• Any right you have under applicable consumer-protection law. Nothing in this policy limits the consumer guarantees you may have.

5. How refunds are processed

• Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method through Stripe.
• It typically takes 5–10 business days for the refund to appear, depending on your bank or card issuer.
• When a refund is issued, the related plan access is removed from your account.

6. How to request a refund

Email support@thestrata.ca from the email address on your account, within 7 days of your payment. Please include the plan you purchased and the approximate date of payment so we can find your order quickly.
